This is going to be a week of endings and beginnings. Friday, Ollie, Mr. Turquoise, will be going home to his forever family. He’s a beautiful boy and will make his new family so happy. They come to visit on a regular basis and are already heads over heels in love with him, and he with them. Sunday, we are meeting Jackson’s family, Mr. Emerald, in Jackson, Tennessee. He will be living in Charleston, S.C. within two miles of the ocean. I see lots of beach trips in his future with his new buddy Spencer. Jackson’s parents are a wonderful family also and he’s going to be loved and cherished as well. We will get home Sunday evening and start preparing O’Malley, Mr. Gold, and Miss Ruby, for their trips the following weekend. We are already dealing with the facts that yes, oh yes, we are going to miss them. At the same time, it is such a privilege to have these wonderful families put their trust in us to raise a healthy, well balanced and wonderful temperament puppy. We don’t take that honor lightly.
Eight weeks, these puppies will be eight weeks old this Friday. A new phase for their little lives, their new families. They will no longer have to share those times for loving. Those times will now be all their own and that makes me very, very happy.
Along with our puppies, we also have new exciting times in our future. Our new girl, Szava, should be arriving her from Budapest, Hungary any time. We are excited to be able to add to our Willowcross Family with such a wonderful girl. Her full pedigree name is “Blue Dancing Girl of Golden Duck”. Until next week friends…….
